Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 31 August 2026 Effective Date: 31 August 2026

1. Who we are

MobileByteSensei is an independent software studio founded in 2024 and based in India. This policy covers the website at blogs.mobilebytesensei.com ("this site"), where we publish technical writing.

This policy covers the website only. Our applications each have their own privacy policy.

Contact: mobilebytesensei@gmail.com

2. The short version

This site collects nothing from you.

It is a static website. There is no account, no login, no newsletter, no comment system, no contact form, no advertising, and no analytics. We do not use tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you, and we have nothing to sell even if we wanted to.

The rest of this policy explains the few technical exceptions honestly, and sets out your rights regardless.

3. What we collect

Data Purpose Legal basis (GDPR) Where it is stored Retention
None collected by us — — — —

We operate no database, no server-side application, and no user records relating to this site.

3.1 What our hosting provider processes

This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare automatically processes limited technical data to deliver pages and protect against attack:

Data Purpose Legal basis (GDPR) Controller
IP address Routing the response, abuse and DDoS protection Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — operating a secure website Cloudflare
Browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp Delivering the correct page, security logging Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) Cloudflare

We do not receive, query, export, or retain these logs, and we cannot identify you from them. Cloudflare's handling is governed by its own privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

3.2 Local storage on your device

If you use the light/dark theme toggle, your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key theme. This is a single word — light or dark.

It never leaves your device, is not a cookie, is not transmitted to us or anyone else, and is not used for tracking. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

We use no other cookies or storage of any kind.

4. What leaves your device

Nothing, beyond the ordinary HTTP requests your browser makes to fetch this site's own pages, stylesheets, and images.

This site loads no third-party scripts, fonts, embeds, pixels, or beacons. Pages here do not contact any domain other than the one you are reading.

5. Third parties

Party Role What they process
Cloudflare Hosting and CDN (processor for delivery) Technical request data, as in §3.1

That is the complete list. There are no analytics providers, advertising networks, tag managers, social widgets, or data brokers involved in this site.

Some articles contain ordinary hyperlinks to other websites. Following a link takes you to a site we do not control and whose privacy practices are its own. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

6. Permissions

This site requests no browser permissions — no location, camera, microphone, notifications, or device access of any kind.

7. How we use data

We do not use your data, because we do not collect any.

8. Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not share personal information with anyone, because we hold none. We do not engage in "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined by the CPRA.

9. Your rights

You have these rights even though we hold no data about you. If you contact us to exercise one, we will tell you honestly that we hold no personal data relating to you, and we will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR). You have the right to access your data, to rectification, to erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing. Where we rely on legitimate interests (§3.1), you may object at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — for EEA residents, a list is maintained at https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/board/members_en; for UK residents, the ICO at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/

California (CCPA / CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, or disclosed; the right to delete; the right to correct; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is no opt-out to exercise.

Canada (PIPEDA). You have the right to access your personal information and to challenge its accuracy.

Brazil (LGPD). You have the rights of confirmation, access, correction, anonymisation, portability, deletion, and information about sharing.

Japan (APPI). You have the right to request disclosure, correction, and cessation of use of your personal data.

Other regions. If your local law grants you privacy rights not listed here, we will honour them. Write to us and say which law applies.

To exercise any right, email mobilebytesensei@gmail.com. There is no charge, and you do not need an account.

10. Children

This site is not directed to children. It publishes technical material written for professional software engineers, and it holds no personal data about anyone, including children under 13 (COPPA), under 16 (GDPR Art. 8 / GDPR-K), or any other age threshold your jurisdiction sets.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, contact us and we will act on it promptly.

11. International transfers

We do not transfer personal data internationally, because we do not collect it.

Cloudflare operates a global network and may serve this site to you from a location near you, which necessarily involves processing your request in that region. This is governed by Cloudflare's own safeguards and privacy policy.

12. Security

This site is served exclusively over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate. It is static: there is no database, no login, and no server-side code that could be compromised to expose visitor data — because there is no visitor data to expose.

13. Retention and deletion

We retain no personal data, so there is nothing to delete on request. Your local theme preference (§3.2) is deleted whenever you clear your browser's site data.

14. Changes to this policy

If this site's data practices ever change — for example if we add analytics, a newsletter, or comments — we will update this policy and change the Last Updated date above before that change goes live. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried.

15. Contact

Questions about this policy, or about privacy generally:

Email: mobilebytesensei@gmail.com Studio: MobileByteSensei, India

We answer privacy mail from real people, not a ticketing system.
